Dr. Julie Ebert

Dr. Julie Ebert is the owner and managing veterinarian at Flint Hills Veterinary Hospital. She is a North Central Kansas native and grew up near Wakefield. Dr. Julie graduated from Kansas State University in 1996, and she has enjoyed practicing small animal medicine in both Manhattan and Junction City.

Dr. Ebert has special interests in small animal internal medicine,  soft tissue surgery, behavioral medicine as well as exotic animal medicine and surgery.  She and her husband Chris have 3 adult children: Austin, Emily, and Adam, and 2 grandchildren.  

Her family's pets include a lab mix named Buddy, a DSH cat named Bandit, and 4 horses- Scanner, Mo, Chance, and Barbie.  Dr. Ebert also enjoys her personal cow /calf operation.  We would love to have you join our pet care family at Flint Hills Veterinary Hospital.

Andrea Cid, DVM

I'm Dr. Andrea Cid, I am mexican. I also graduated from the University of State of Mexico. I also have a diploma on feline medicine, and exotic pets. I have 8 years of veterinary experience in small animal care, particularly feline medicine. I have 3 cats, 2 boys that are named Felix and Carlos, and  girl cat name Nena. I also love to travel, sing and swim on my free time.

Melody Winkel

Melody has lived in Kansas since she was three years old. She is currently working towards her veterinary technician degree. After graduating from that degree, she plans on working towards becoming a marine/aquatic veterinary technician or receiving a marine biology degree.

She has a cat, two dogs, and five freshwater fish. She can’t wait to be a part of you and your pet’s life.

Christyn Sokei

Hello! My name is Christyn Sokei. I have been a veterinary technician for 13 years. I started in Hawaii, where I was born and raised. My love for this field began at a young age and I love to help, to save, and to educate all our clients/patients.

I moved to Kansas with my husband due to the military, and we have 2-legged kiddos. I also have 3 pups and 1 kitty. I am currently attending school to become a Registered Veterinary Technician and can't wait to meet you and your pets!

Isabel Huddelston

Hello! My name is Isabel ( Izzy ). I am bilingual. I am currently a student at K-State majoring in animal science. When im not in school, things I enjoy to do is play volleyball, craft, and hang out with friends and family. I have a dog name Moose which i enjoy 

GreenLee Wells

Hi Everyone! My name is GreenLee, I'm one of the receptionists here at Flint Hills Veterinary Hospital. I was born and raised in Florida, I came up to Kansas due to being a military spouse.  I have been in the medical field for humans and wanted to see about being in the animal field, i find it rewarding to be able to advocate and educate our community. I have one dog named Arlo who is the sweetest boy in the world. I look forward to seeing everyone and beautiful pets.

Crystal Owen

Hello, I am Crystal Owen, the friendly face you see as you come in. I have been married to my husband Jimmy for 22 years. Jimmy is retired military, and brought us to Kansas in 2012. We have 2 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. I am looking forward to helping you and your fur kids, its not just fun its rewarding for me.

Katie Mohler

I am an online student in the veterinary nursing program at Colby Community College. I graduated from Junction City High Schoo, participating in FFA which sparked my interest for large animal involvement. My goal will be to apply for Kansas State Veterinary School to receive a DVM in Equine Medicine
